- You keep control of your project's quality and scheduling. Our carpenters are hourly employees that you direct. You determine how many people you need, establish the quality your project requires, and decide the crew's work schedule. NW Carpenters FlexCrew & CrewSelect policies help by matching and dispatching the right journeymen and women for your needs. If an individual journeyman or woman doesn't meet your job performance standards, we'll find one who does. This level of control gives contractors the power to balance time, quality and profit considerations as they see fit, leading to more predictable outcomes on all projects.
- Contractors have a voice. We respect the rights of contractors to have a say in the issues that affect them. Contractors and union officials jointly negotiate the terms of all agreements. Working together, labor and management representatives administer the union health benefits, retirement and training programs.
- Solving issues together. Conflicts are bound to occur on some job sites, some of the time. Working with union contractors, NW Carpenters is dedicated to keeping the job productive and preventing disputes from escalating. We utilize a dispute resolution process that systematically addresses the concerns of all parties and attempts to find an outcome satisfactory to everyone.
